At "Bounce Planet" with some Indiana friends
Not sure if they're supposed to be up that high! Will, Garrison & Sam.

Sully led the way to the top of the tower!

Waiting on our milkshakes. Michael, Stan, Stephen, Sarah, Sully & Sam.
Sully adds a new dynamic to the Schwartz household. Yesterday afternoon as the kids were playing @ Jim and Jodi's house, I noticed that they now can pair up 1 to 1. Sam was playing chess with Stan, Sarah was involved in Playmobil action with Stephen & Michael and Sully had a game of pool going on in the basement. We are loving spending time with friends during this brief visit to Indiana.

Indiana

Jim and I are sitting here watching our three kids swim and feeling like we're two kids short! We made the trip to Noblesville on Friday and got the Schwartz boys settled a bit just hours before their folks and Sully would arrive at home. Jim, Jodi and Sully walked in the door at about 1am Saturday and what a wonderful reunion we had at that early hour.

We are hanging out in Noblesville for the week to catch up with old friends and get reacquainted with Sully. Below are some pics from our time here.

All credit goes to God for a quick and successful adoption process. We also credit God with how well the time went in the Fruth household. God is indeed very good and very involved in the day to day details of our lives.
Go Purdue!
Michael, Sully and Sam

Sunday we drove to Mike and Steph's after church and had a yummy lunch with them. (Thanks Steph!) In this pic, I think Mike was still making a funny face.

Saturday afternoon we dropped by Tom and Candy Gray's house. They were our back yard neighbors in Noblesville. Oh the sights they must've seen as they looked out their windows and saw our kids trying to trap birds, swinging naked on the playset (I won't name names on that one!) This couple is very dear to us and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A St. Patrick's day milk moustache!

This picture comes from the travellers. Jim & Sarah met up with Mom Fruth in Bunker Hill today. Word has it that they hit the Peru Hot Dog Stand and then drove up to Cliff and JuJu's house. I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Sarah manages to remain behind and just live with JuJu and Cliff (and those horses!).

The boys and I had school this morning and then went to the batting cages this afternoon. Sam, Stephen, Stan and Michael built a campfire in our little backyard fire pit. It was a GREAT fire!!! We sat around the fire for the longest time. What a beautiful evening.

Jim and Jodi's appointment with the judge was without any problems at all! Praise to God for that! They even are beginning to think that they may be home sooner than originally anticipated. If all continues to go well, they could be flying home with Sully March 22nd.

Aren't those pics great! You just gotta love it when technology works and we can get pictures in "real time"!
A big prayer/praise item is that the court date is scheduled for this Friday! Please pray that all documents will arrive in time for this date to remain as scheduled.
Last night we had Michael's Upward celebration at the church. When the boys and I returned home we had a Wii Olympics! I should've taken a bit of video of the boys playing the game, but I was busy laughing at them and their expressions. I think my favorite was the swimming event or maybe Stan doing the fencing. We'll have to do it again and I'll post some video.
My students are nearly finished with school for the day. We're going to head outside and throw a baseball and make a library run. Tonight is youth group at the church. After youth group Stan plays in a pick up basketball game with kids from church. I love watching him play, he is unstoppable!

The Latest from the Ukraine

Here are a couple pictures of Jim & Jodi and Sully. (are you getting used to using that name? keep working on it!) These just arrived. Enjoy!
I need to share with you that only Sully will be returning with Jim and Jodi. Nikita has made the choice to remain in the Ukraine (in the orphanage). Jim & Jodi are resting in the fact that God is sovereign over everything and would ask you to pray for Nikita and his future. In a sense, God has closed that door and locked it tight. Pray that this young man would know Christ as his savior one day. I am sure that Nikita will always remember this family who knew him not, but was willing to adopt him as one of their own. What a blessing if one day he would choose to be adopted into the family of God! We will pray and leave the results to God.
Watching Sarah's final game...Stan, Sam, Stephen...don't know the other people!!!

Taking off her shoes after the last game.

In the brand new bride's dressing room at Lenexa Baptist Church.
Hmmmm......wonder if we'll still be here when Sarah will need a bride's dressing room....

Our church opened the new sanctuary this past Sunday. We took a tour Saturday between game times. Front row baby!

Sunday Morning...full house.
Stan is the right man for this job. We helped decorate for the Upward Awards Night.

Sarah's favorite activity.....playing outside, no matter what the weather!

Sarah and Jim will soon be boarding an airplane and heading to Indiana for the remainder of the week. Oh my was Sarah excited and do you know what happens when a 9 year old girl gets excited? Nonstop talk! She talked until her head hit the pillow last night and when I awakened her this morning she picked up where she had left off! What a sweet thing that she can go on this business trip with Jim. She'll remember it always. God is so good to provide one-on-one times that produce some great memories! Sarah will get to play with some friends for a few days while Jim does the Indy circuit of John Deere Landscapes branches. Friday they will be at Purdue, where Jim will teach a class. After the class they are going to drive up to Bunker Hill and visit Grandma Fruth! We'll see them Saturday.
